Modern Care is the scientific quarterly of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at Birjand University of Medical Sciences. It aims to develop and elevate knowledge and original research in medical sciences, especially in nursing and midwifery. The journal accepts original papers, review articles, case reports, and letter to editor. Review articles are accepted only from highly experienced researchers who have cited at least three papers of theirs published in reliable scientific journals in the same area of research. Case reports concern with a rare disease or care issue and contain a valuable message; the disease should be diagnosed and verified by paraclinical interventions. This type of paper should be written by at least three authors, and include introduction, a brief history of the disease, complete description of the patient, clinical findings, paraclinical intervention results, and references, not exceeding 1500 words overall.
